Casey Anthony Video Blog.

First I want to say, I will not be posting the video. If you want to watch it that is your right to do so, that's why we value our freedoms here. I just refuse to help that woman in any way. Anyway the newest in her life, I supposed is that she is now video blogging. According to the CNN story on Casey, she didn't mention Caylee one time on the video. Is it really a surprise that she wouldn't talk about that small little girl?

Rather you agree that she was guilty or not, the fact that she didn't mention her dead daughter is telling of her disregard for the young girl. The death of such a sweet young baby is heartbreaking no matter if it was at the hands of her "parent" or not. No child deserves to die. They haven't had a chance to live their lives yet.

5 Days in

5 days into a daily blog for a year, and epic fail.  Well, I will have to do better won't I? Later today I will have two maybe more posts up. Please forgive me falling behind on Thursday. No excuses here, I plain forgot. My apologies.

Duct Tape and Facebook

This story was posted on CNN on December 31st, 2011. I ran across it a few days ago and decided it would make a good blog post. The following is the story:

A couple in Arizona are in custody after duct taping their kids hands, feet and mouths then posting photos of said taping onto Facebook. The children in this story are just 2 and 10 months old. The 2 year old is the couples son and the 10 month old is a baby girl. In one photo the young boy was seen hanging upside down by his taped feet from an exercise machine.

Over Kill Much?

This story goes back to 2008 apparently. The story goes like this according to CNN.

Thirty-one year old Jodi Arias went to her boyfriend Travis Alexander's home shot him in the face, stabbed him some 27 times and then for good measure slit his throat from ear to ear. Over kill much? Travis' closest friends found his body in the shower. In the washing machine law enforcement located, a camera that had nude photo's of the victim and the suspect as well as photos of the suspect with the victim as he lay dying. This according to CNN.

From what a friend told investigators, Travis had caught Jodi breaking into his Facebook account. The friend recounted a question he had asked Travis after Travis had sent a harsh response to the suspect. The question he asked, "are you afraid she's going to hurt you?" Four or five days later Travis went missing before the friends found him dead in the shower.

Little Missing Ayla

We've heard it all before, "I put my kid to bed when I woke up she was gone". So begins yet another case of a child "snatched" from her bed. Little Ayla Reynolds just twenty months old lived with her father in Maine. Her mother who needed time to take care of herself is now seeking custody of Ayla back from the father. The mother stating that she is concerned for Ayla's safety in her fathers care.

The mother filed court documents the day before Ayla disappeared. The father states that Ayla "is my world" and that he would "never do anything to harm her".  A $30,000 reward is being offered by local citizens and businesses, for information that may lead authorities to little Ayla.

I don't know if maybe it's just the skeptic in me or what, but my gut tells me that this case will turn out like so many others do. I pray that this isn't the case though. I hope that this little Angel is found to be safe and alive. She hasn't yet had time on this Earth to really begin her life.

I won't post her picture her, however I will give you the link to her story on CNN- Ayla Reynolds MISSING. It takes a village to raise a child they say, so lets all work together to bring Ayla home. What can you do? Help Ayla by spreading her story to others, someone must know something.

Praying for Angel Ayla

Southern California Fires Part 2.

According to CNN.com this afternoon the suspected arsonist is now being detained. After fifty four fires in four days he is being held for questioning. Of course they are not saying that he is the arsonist, just that he was arrested for questioning.

Well what can I say? It's about time! I know the area is a large one, but this man has set 54 fires in 4 days. Someone had to have seen something. It took a reserve deputy to spot him after there were some 53 or 54 fires.

No one has died from these fires nor were there any serious injuries. One firefighter did receive slight injuries. That however is one too  many. This arsonist should have been caught way before he was. CNN is reporting that two other people were arrested earlier in the week that may have also been involved. So far no new suspicious fires have been reported.

Congratulations to the local authorities for catching someone who would have eventually killed someone.

Southern California Fires

So according to CNN.com, there is a serial arsonist running around California. It is believed that this arsonist is linked to 39 fires. This has been occurring since Saturday apparently, although the fire officials are saying one has been a significant fire. There is even a $60,000 reward out for this man, still he is eluding police. You can read the story on CNN by going to this link.

I was born in the L.A. area, so this is a little disturbing to me. How can one person set so many fires in just what two days? Is that all this man does? Does he not have a life of any kind? No family or friends to look at him and say, "Hey why are you always away from home when these fires have been set"? Is he not being missed at a job of some sort?

There is something seriously wrong with this picture in my eyes. The police have now released a video of the man they are calling a "person of interest". The past tells us they are looking for this man as more than that. He is wanted for questioning, they believe that he had something to do with starting these fires. At the very least they may believe that he knows who has been setting them. Either way, L.A. maybe a huge area but someone knows this man.

It is our duty as citizens to step forward when we believe we know the person (s) that law enforcement is looking for. When no one comes forward to give a name to a face that police are searching for; we are just as guilty as  the person who committed the crime.

Every day our Service members are fighting for our rights. Do we repay that debt to them by staying quiet when we know who has harmed our country and our citizens? With each fire that this arsonist sets; there is a greater chance that someone will be hurt or worse.

So to those that know who this man in the video is; step up and do what is right. Come forward before the unthinkable happens to an unsuspecting citizen.
